Bedtime Story 12/16: Fish
Once up on a time there was a little boy named William. He loved fish. He didn't like to eat fish. He didn't like to catch fish. He liked to watch fish. Whenever they went shopping, his parents pushed the shopping cart up to the fish tanks so William could see the fish. He saw goldfish and blue fish with orange stripes. He saw fish with big tails and fish with big eyes. William pointed and talked about the fish as they swam by. One day, he went to the aquarium. It was a huge fish tank that people could walk around. William stopped and looked at all the fish. Just like the tank was bigger than the one in the store, so were the fish! He saw sharks and sea turtles and eels; he saw seahorses and sting rays and sea urchins. At the top of the tank, William looked down into the water. He saw a man in the tank! William wished he could swim with the fish, too. He ran the whole way back around the tank pretending he was a fish soaring through the water.
