Letter D Week

Natalie was excited to get going on letter D.  She asked to watch the new video playlist on Saturday morning.  She got very excited when I spread out all the book choices for her at bedtime on Sunday, so I think I'll be doing that again. This week was the first time Natalie started pointing out letters on signs when we were in the car.

Here are out book ideas for the letter D.  We did not check all of these out, but I've listed all I could think of for future reference.

The Amazing Story of Luke Skywalker (because it has Darth Vader)

Books this week focused on dinosaurs, dogs, ducks, dress up, and Daddy!   Natalie was particularly interested in dinosaurs. She had a lot of fun playing with dinosaur stickers and out four dinosaur toys.  She enjoyed making them talk, sometimes saying they were going to eat someone and other times saying they were friendly.

If you focus on dinosaurs, using the Dinosaur Train song "Dinosaurs A to Z" is a fun idea.
