Pre-birth Stock Up Shopping List

Before Natalie was born, I read about stocking up your freezer with some ready made meals to make the first few weeks home a little easier. We did this and liked it. We also stocked up on some of our other frequently used items. We usually keep extras of things around the house anyway, but ensuring we have back ups on hand makes it so that a weekly shopping trip wasn't as necessary for a little bit. Instead of an hour long trip to Walmart, a quick run to the local store would get us our perishables. This time around, our farm share will run at least six weeks after the birth. This is great because it is one that brings your goods to your door. So, we will have fresh veggies, maybe some fruit, eggs, and even bread if we want brought to us weekly.

House hold items:
Toilet paper
Tissues
Paper towels
Laundry detergent
Fabric softener
Dishwasher detergent
Dish soap (for in sink washing)
Cleaning wipes
Quart size freezer bags (for freezing meat and leftovers)
Baby wipes
Diapers
Diaper Genie pail refill inserts
Batteries
Toothpaste
Deodorant
Shampoo
Soap
